Description

36kV metal oxide arrester is a non-linear type, 10kA distribution class lightning arrester without spark gaps, which works for 50HZ a.c. power system with the highest voltage of 36kV. When the arrester fails abnormally, the power frequency short-circuit current is used to make the disconnector act, so that the grounding terminal of the disconnector is automatically disengaged, and the arrester stops running to prevent further expansion of the accident, and the faulty arrester is given a visible disconnection mark, which is convenient for maintenance personnel find fault points in time for maintenance and replacement.

 

Product Feature

  1. Silicone rubber arrester housing with a capacity to resist contamination and aging.
  2. Stainless steel terminals accept copper or aluminum conductors without corrosion.
  3. Arresters can be suitable for horizontal and vertical mounting. An insulating bracket will be provided for each arrester, to facilitate arresters can be installed on channel and angle iron cross-arms.
  4. A disconnector device will be provided, it can disconnect the arrester from the electrical system in case of failure and indicate visually the faulty arrester.
  5. All exposed steel parts, will be hot dip galvanized according to ISO 1461.
  6. Each arrester will be provided with a nameplate, to show information: model type, rated voltage, mcov, manufacture date, yuanneng identify etc.
  7. The surge arresters will be packed in durable packing cartons, each carton will contain 3 units. Pallet packing can be optional.

 

Packing

To protect the product during land, air, or sea transport, all insulators will be packed in weatherproof containers. Several different grades of packaging are available depending on the mode of transport and expected storage conditions. Special packaging arrangements are available upon user request.
